快適に使えます。
さらに言うなれば、音量調節機能も欲しいです。

リモコンの電池消費が激しいらしいのでインストール。
しばらく操作しない時はそのデバイスから切断しておき、必要な時に都度再接続すれば快適に使えます。
操作性自体は良いです。
ですが、うっかり接続したままでしばらく無操作でいると、一切の操作が不能になるのがかなりの難点。
しかもアプリを再起動しても治らない。
再接続出来てないのに再接続したと自動でリダイレクト、誤認識。
Wi-Fiオフの状態でアプリを再起動、Wi-Fiをオン、という手順を踏まないと使えません。
改善を希望します。
fire TV初期化したらアプリ使えない！
fire TV初期化し、本体はリモコンのホームボタンを押せと言ってる。当然ログイン前です。
このアプリはログインしないと本体を認識しないためリモコンすら表示されない。
リモコン故障し本体初期化した人には使えない！！
ユーザービリティーに沿った設計がされていない！！
最悪のアプリです！！
なぜなら、
リモコンだけ故障し、本体不具合と思い初期化する人だっている。又はリモコン紛失した人だっているはずです。
しかしこのアプリは、そもそもリモコンが存在しなければ、かつ、本体がログイン状態でなければ認識しないので、このアプリ使えません。
ネット回線不具合の人だっているでしょう。
本体とアプリで通信して、まずはリモコン設定してから、リモコンボタンメニューでネット設定するのですから、何よりもリモコン認識を優先させないといけないのに、このアプリはまっ先に本体ログインを要求くる設計はダメダメでしょう。
もっと利用状況を想定して設計されてない。最悪のダメダメアプリです。
本体もう一度買えってことか？
本当に公式なのかな？と疑う
大体他のレビュアーさんと同じ症状です。Fire TVのリモコンが電池爆食い&接触不良多発。
電池カバー(裏蓋)を外して電池部分を押さえながらではやらないと、まともに機能しないので、救いになるかと思いきや、そもそもFire TVリモコンが起動しないと認識されないアプリなので、元が壊れてしまうとまるで意味がない。
アップデートしてからか、それが鮮明になった。
いかにGAFAと、世界中から納税について叩かれるAmazonとはいえ、次第に上がるプライム料金。
「安かろう悪かろう」をこの時代に行うFire TVリモコン。
2019年12月26日追記
アップデート後、ボタンに相当する部分がまったく反応しません。
肝心のリモコンも使えたり使えなかったりなので、テレビでリモコンを使うのはやめようと思ってます。
