無料だからと軽い気持ちで使っていましたが重要性を実感しました。
普段からスマホや一眼で写真を撮っていますが、印刷するのでもなく、どこかのタイミングで消してしまうことも多々ありました。
Prime Photoはプライム会員のおまけみたいな認識で、無料で使えるならとダウンロードし、気が向いたらバックアップするみたいに使っていました。
先日、18年連れ添った愛犬が急逝しました。
大慌てで引っ越したばかりの実家に駆けつけるも看取ることは出来ず、私の仕事なども考慮してその日の夕方に葬式を執り行うこととなりました。
家族全員が悲しみに暮れる中、引越し直後だったこともあり、葬式用の写真がすぐには準備できないと困っていました。
私のスマホも大量の写真を消したばかりで良い写真が無く、、、藁にもすがる思いでPrime Photoにアクセスしたところ、数年に渡って撮影してきた、愛犬が元気だった頃の写真が何百枚も出てきました。
葬式の写真にまだ元気だった頃の愛犬の写真を使うことが出来、最高の式で見送ってあげることができました。
また、保存された写真を家族で見て、当時の思い出に浸ることができました。
あまりにも突然のことで私自身受け入れきれていませんが、スマホからも写真にアクセス出来るため、心が辛くなったらスマホから保存した写真を見て心を落ち着かせています。
自己満足のレビューで申し訳ありません。
ただ、心から感謝していることをこのアプリを開発された方、サービスを企画された方、無料で使えるよう決断して下さった方、全てにお伝えしたいです。

動画の保存領域が5GBなのが惜しい！！！！！
Googleフォトに容量制限がかかると知らせが来たため、急遽こちらをインストールしてみました。 まず既存の機能についてですが、完璧ではありませんが十分条件、という感じです。 むしろアマプラで他のこともできるのにこんな機能まで付けていいんですかと言いたいくらい！！十分すぎます。 フォルダ分けができますし、人物認識機能もあり、画像保存アプリとしては必要な機能はほぼ揃っています。 画像編集はできませんが、編集するなら他に良いアプリありますし保存するためのアプリには必要ないかなと。 これで静止画を無制限で保存できるのなら確かに十分ありがたいしお釣りが来るくらいです。 ただ、ただ一点。 動画の保存領域が5GBなのがちょっと惜しいかなと！！！！！！！！！ 年2000円で動画領域を100GBにするサービスはあります。 あるのですが、これから長く使っていくとしたらそれでは足りないことも出てくるかもしれない。 そう考えると、やっぱり動画の保存領域が無制限になるのならばもう少しお値段が上がってもいいのに！！！！！と思います。 だってそこだけなのに！！！それがあれば必要十分バッチリなのに！！！！ わがまま言ってるようにしか見えないかもしれませんが、これ以外は完璧なんですよ！？！？！？ これさえあれば評価星5以上つけたいくらいのアプリです……とても惜しい。 せっかく画像が無制限でバックアップできるなら、動画もちゃんと全部バックアップしたいです。 10〜50GBとかの範囲も欲しい方もいると思いますし、もうちょっと動画領域についての課金サービスを充実させて欲しいな〜〜？？？？ 画像編集機能はこれからも必要ありませんし、人物認識も今のままでほぼ十分な機能です（前アプリも人物認識機能はありましたが正確な判断はできてませんでしたし）。 画質が少しくらい落ちても構いません。 なんか、なんかいい機能が欲しいです……。 ここでわがまま言うのは違うかもしれませんが、動画無制限保存の機能が加わるのであれば、 年アマプラ代=動画無制限保存代 以内に収まるなら是非追加で支払いたいです。 （安いに越したことはありませんが。） ご検討、どうか前向きに、よろしくお願いします。
Fire stickのスクリーンセーバー
Fire stick使用でYouTubeやNetflixなど
観ているときしばらく操作をしないとスクリーンセーバーが開始されてAmazon photosに保存してある自分のプライベートな写真が勝手にスライドショーで映し出される。設定変更でAmazonコレクション選択してスクリーンセーバーも開始されないようにしてもしばらくすると何故か勝手にまたスクリーンセーバーに出てくる。カスタマーに問い合わせてPINコード設定しAmazonコレクションしか選択肢に出ないようになったのでこれでようやく一安心と思っていたのに何故かまた選択肢にAmazon photos内のアルバム名や毎日の思い出の項目が現れスクリーンセーバーも消していたのに自分のプライベートな写真がスライドショーされ出した。PINコードは自分以外の家族は知らないので家族がスクリーンセーバーにAmazon photosの写真が出るうに設定し直したりということは考えられない。
カスタマーの方もPINコード設定しているからもう大丈夫だと言っていたのに…
アップデートすると設定が無効になったりする？
Fire stick側の問題なのかよくわからないしその他の機能は素晴らしいので批判というより困っていることを知ってもらいたくてのレビューです。
Amazon photos自体は便利なのにこういったことが何度も起こるので怖くて使用出来ないのが悲しい。
