Description
The Hachioji City’s official application, “AR Takiyama Castle Ruins” is a tourism application that allows you to enjoy experiencing and learning the history of the famous Takiyama Castle in the Sengoku (Warring States) period with AR (Augmented Reality). When you read an AR marker on a Park Map in the Takiyama Park in Hachioji City, an image of Takiyama Castle from about 450 years ago will be displayed over the current landscape.
The application shows your current location, along with recommended nearby locations, in real time on the map. You can check for locations that have an AR marker, and get directions towards seasonal attractions such as cherry blossoms and autumn leaves. The application also includes the animation movie that introduces the history of Takiyama Castle. Together with this application, embark on a romantic journey to experience the famous Takiyama Castle in the Sengoku period.

見廻す楽しさはピカイチ
ARでは現存していない土塀に櫓を見渡せて、お城が好きな人が観る情景を体感できました。
解説音声も程よい長さで勉強になります。
ARの使い方も説明板の解説マーカー（黄背景の小屋のようなマーク）にカメラを合わせるだけです。
説明板の数も多いので、滝山城を隅々まで楽しみたい人向けのアプリです。
ひとつだけ残念なのは、モデルの後ろに回り込めないところです。
説明板の前に立ってぐるっと見廻すのも楽しいですが、よく出来ているだけにモデルの裏側も覗き込んでみたくなってしまいました。

すごくいいです。
城跡ですが、スマホを通して当時の様子を覗き見ることができてとても良かったです。本丸跡にも本丸のARが欲しかったですかね。
