Not only do you get access to your library of paid books, but also to plenty of free public domain ones. Monthly deals (e.g. 2 books for 1 credit) are surprisingly attractive with plenty of new high-quality stuff. Monthly VIP rewards for subscribers look good too, and I currently enjoy Warren Bennis' classic book on leadership, which is quite different from my usual areas of interest.The only thing that appears to work not 100% as expected is that if you fully close the app and relaunch it while being offline the playback might resume much earlier than where you've left off.

I tried Audiobooks.com and Audible for free trials at the same time. I’m sticking with Audiobooks.com for the selection and note taking features.

I have a harder and harder time reading physical books, but now I can finally listen to my favorite books/authors while commuting and doing chores. Currently, I'm listening to 12 Rules for Life by Jordan Peterson, and it's so nice to be able to listen to the book narrated by him. I used to have a subscription to Audible, but their all-you-can-listen system is not for me, especially since most of the books I'm interested in are not included in the subscription; I much prefer the credit system, and Audiobooks.com has it. The app is easy to use and the interface is minimal. I highly recommend it!
