Auralux is an abstract, essentialized, and simplified real-time strategy game.

You command only one type of unit and have only one type of order to give those units. You and your opponents start the game with precisely equal resources. Quick reflexes will get you nowhere. The only path to victory is through clever strategy.

Auralux features a slow, floating feel and vibrant minimalistic graphics. The entire game pulses to the rhythm of ambient music, and the player's actions evoke sounds that smoothly coalesce into melody.

よくデザインされているが、まだ面白くなる可能性がありそう

ノードを占領し、生産を拡大し、敵のノードを乗っ取ってマップの統一を目指すというこのタイプのゲームはたくさんある。
その中でこのゲームが良いところは、ノードだけでなくノード同士の間や周辺など、好きなところに勢力を配置しスタックできるところである。
これによってプレイヤーは、戦闘の起こるところを予想し、その戦闘での援護や撤退など複数の可能性を考慮しながら勢力の配置を工夫する楽しさを味わえる。

一方で、このタイプのゲームにおける「複数の勢力から攻められて消耗する状況を回避する」「敵同士の消耗戦を待ち漁夫を狙いアドを稼ぐ」という2つの勝つための絶対的なセオリーはこのゲームでも変わらないので、結局そのセオリーを達成するだけになってしまいがちではある。そして複数勢力から狙われないかどうかなどは究極的には運ゲーになりがちだったりする。
何かそのセオリーを揺るがすような要素があるとさらに味わい深いゲームになるかもしれない。

シンプル

これはシンプルだからこその面白さ。
シンプルなのに、自分の頭の中で、今は待機しとこうとか、回復優先とか、こっちは捨てゴマとか、戦略考えまくってて楽しい。やみくもに攻撃してるだけだと滅びちゃうような難易度で面白い。勝ったも同然状態になったときが爽快。
speed modeはただ速いだけなのかな？
まったりノロノロやるのが良いけど…
