Bolt: Request a Ride 4+

During a trip it was recommended for me to use the Bolt app as it was cheaper than Grab. I not only found this to be true, but also found the drivers on Bolt to be honest if they could not pick us up due to no space for my friend’s wheelchair. Or if they needed a little time to come pick us up. They were very helpful and assisted us with the folding and lifting of my friend’s wheelchair. And even careful with it, which was very appreciated.

I hope Bolt will maintain this level of service. Especially as the coordinator who assisted us used her Grab account to take us back to our hotel after an event. And the Grab driver tried to scam us out of more money after he had been paid not only for the ride by the coordinator. But extra money by a friend’s relatives when he was inappropriately freaking out over my friend’s wheelchair.

Thank you to all the Bolt drivers for making our transportation during our trip in Thailand smooth and for assisting us.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience with a Bolt driver. To keep it brief, I wore a mask because I didn't have makeup on, and the moment I entered the car, the driver asked me, with a displeased expression, 'Are you sick?' She also scolded me for taking too long to get into her car, even though I had only been inside for less than 2 minutes. I responded politely, but she continued to speak to me rudely.

I was quite upset by her behavior, so I took a screenshot of her profile on the app. It appears that the app may have notified her, as she angrily inquired, 'Why are you taking screenshots?' She refused to take me to my destination and told me to get out of her car at a place in the middle of the road where there was no shade in the scorching heat.

I asked her to stop at a location with at least some shade, and I could get another taxi. Then I exited the vehicle. Despite reporting this incident in the app, I have received no response. I believe that the Bolt app should take appropriate action against her behavior. I still have her profile information. Contact me to take action.

This is my first tome to used this, it’s great cheeper than other app.
But one thing in Thailand still can not use credit cards.(4th January 2021) if I can use credit I will choose Bolt.
