i just love this too much
i have never ever rated an app before but i decided to here:) i’m an extreme beginner so i don’t know a thing about japanese characters or anything like that so i tried this app and let me tell you something luvs I LEARNED HIRAGANA IN LEGIT 8 days and then i revised them and i wrote them all right like wth? and the good thing is that if you want to repeat the same lesson they gave you ,you can! it doesn’t make you not allowed to click on it anymore if you are finished it still does let you which is so good and the good thing about this app is that it made me like reading,studying,writing more which is unbelievable cuz all i would do is stay on my phone 24/7 and fail exams i cannot thank this app more-
Progress of lessons and exercises don’t make sense
What I like about this app is how it covers everything from N5 to N1 and the periodic reviews every day.
But for some lessons and exercises it uses grammar features from more advanced lessons which makes the lessons way harder than it is supposed to be.
For example on first lesson of N4 the exercises have sentences that uses conditionals, but until that lesson, conditionals were not taught yet. How am I supposed to understand the sentence if the examples uses grammar that have not been taught yet???
This makes the process of learning Japense frustating and way harder than it should be if you were using proper learning materials, like books.
This app should be only used for reviewing grammar, not actually learning Japanese. If you want to learn Japanese grammar, there are better resources, but if you just want to review, than it is a good app.
I give 4 stars because the name of the app says “learn Japanese”. And when it comes to learning Japanese, there better (and cheaper) ways of doing it.
If the developers could make the examples using the grammar that has been taught until that lesson, this app would be definitely a good resource for learning Japanese and definitely a 5 star.
Easy to Understand, Support is great!
I’ve been using this app to review grammar that I studied a long time ago, and I really appreciate the easy to understand explanations, srs, and even the cute art. I regularly recommend the app to friends learning or wanting to review Japanese.
I experienced an issue recently and had reported it within the app, but then I kept experiencing it in other lessons as well. I decided to write an email to customer support and got a quick answer. There was an app update just a few days later and the problem has been solved! I really appreciated feeling heard and the fast turnaround of response and fix implementation!
I really love this app! I highly recommend it!
