Description
Code App is a MIT-licensed desktop-class code editor for iPadOS with built-in Node.js, Python, C, C++, PHP and Java runtime.
We built it because there is nothing else on the App Store provides all these features in one app:
* A robust, high-performance text editor (Monaco Editor from Visual Studio Code)

Good IDE for JavaScript project
It took several days to modify my project for its node runtime, but succeeded to execute “npm run dev” and load it from web browser.
Built-in examples such as “vue-starter” are good for reference.
Here is what I changed:
Vue.js
Vite -> webpack
Three.js
JavaScript
Typescript -> translate to Javascript
Other confusing points are for using the app without physical keyboard:
* There are no buttons to save files, so I closed files to save every time.
* If escape button is located, vim feature is useful.
* Selection in editor is hard to use

Swift response from the developer at github and indeed understanding the issue, hope the app can get improved in future

Buggy under iPadOS 14.4.2
- Extremely unresponsive with magic keyboard, need to tap the buttons on touch screen, or kill the app and reopen
- bottom line of the shell is actually being blocked by the bottom blue bar
- ctrl-c does not actually work in node.js REPL
- cannot execute npm install
recommend to have code-server for a full experience instead

Thank you for your feedback. I am aware of the keyboard related problems and will address it as soon as possible.
Regarding REPL support in node.js, it’s not currently supported unfortunately.
For npm install, could you perhaps provide more details such as the module you are trying to install? Note that not all modules are supported as some requires as desktop environment to run.
