This app allows you to visualize the colors in an image in a 3D color space. It provides a fascinating representation of the distribution of colors within the picture. You have the option to choose from various color coordinate systems, generate histograms, and even create a list of prominent colors through color quantization of the entire image.

The app supports the following color coordinate systems:

- RGB Cartesian coordinates
- Rotated RGB Cartesian coordinates
- RGB Cylinder coordinates
- HSB Cartesian coordinates
- HSB Cylinder coordinates
- HLS Cylinder coordinates
- YCC Cartesian coordinates
- Lab* Cartesian coordinates
- CIE xyY
- CIE XYZ Cartesian coordinates

You can plot these colors in both 3D and 2D, including a CIE plot.

Poor Quality

First of all, I am suprised this app passed the Apple review process. It is poorly developed. The UI looks like crap. The buttons don’t work. I tried pressing a button, and nothing happened. Apparently no support for pen tablet inputs. I had to switch input device to a mouse to use it. Then I tried loading an image. All images greyed out in the file selector. Apparently, it doesn’t support EXR images. Well, who cares about pen tablets or EXR images, apart from those people working with images? Apparently the develeoper forgot who he made this app for: people working with images!
