If you fill out your credit card information on this app, you will be charged 60dollars immediately. Very surprised. This company has to write about the fee for verification where we fill out our credit card information. But just written “for free” on a lot of places. Be careful!!!
Disappointed with Customer Support and Policy

I have been a paying subscriber with Couchsurfing but was denied any explanation regarding the subscription I had paid for. Despite my account being deactivated without a clear reason, I received no refund for the unused subscription period. The lack of transparency and fairness from customer support is deeply disappointing. I hope others are aware of these issues before subscribing.

What were the developers thinking? The terrible UI that automatically disables "Do Not Host" and makes it impossible to reconfigure is incredibly frustrating. Combined with losing the ability to sort hosts by last login, this update is a complete disaster.
Ever come back to the app and wonder if you're looking at stale info? Not anymore! Profiles, community posts, and couch stay details now refresh automatically when you return from the background, so you're always seeing the latest and greatest. We also squashed a few sneaky bugs along the way: the "Hosted n travelers" count on profile preview cards is back to showing the right number, the private feedback form now looks and behaves exactly as it should! Oh, and if you were ever tapped to upgrade on an Apple device, that link now takes you exactly where it should. Smooth travels ahead!
