パス自体は三つ星、アプリは四つ星

コロナの影響でほとんどアジア旅行客のいないヨーロッパを巡ってきました。
パス:一等車の恩恵に預かろうとグローバルパスの1st classにて。他の方も書かれていますが予約なしの車両は、ササっと乗って二等車より人が少なめの席を陣取って、アプリのバーコード画面を見せる、無敵でした。座席予約が必要な列車はアプリに出ますし、実際との齟齬もなかった。ただ、紙のパスと違ってアプリのパスは、多くの国や列車で、現地の窓口で予約せよと出てきます。結果、夜行とか混みやすい列車は現地国に着いた時は直前（何日も前ではない）なので、空席ないということになります。パス向けの予約枠もあるらしく、ユーロスターはイギリス国鉄の職員に画面を見せてもらったけど、ごく限られた二等車か、何日も先の一等車か、という感じでした。
アプリ:かなりかゆいところに手が届くようになってます。いったん旅程を組み立てておいて、その列車を変えたい時は、区間や時刻を引き継いで一部の条件だけ変えて再検索できたり、複数のプランを並行して検討するのにも「使え」ます。少しバグがあって、登録した便が別の日になってたり、列車A、B乗り継ぐのにAB入れ替わって一覧表示が狂ったり乗継ぎ時間がマイナスとか。あと、オフラインかネットが弱い時に、何もパスを登録してないような画面になって焦りました（ヨーロッパの鉄道で日本人の客があたふたしていても、車掌さんは優しく待ってくれますが）。
この何十年も続くパス自体の素晴らしさ、マイナス、予約枠の渋チン具合と、アプリの使い勝手、マイナスバグや複数携帯間をアカウントで連携とかしてくれないあたりで、タイトルの星加減です。

Frequent Activation Issues and Inconvenient Logouts

I have experienced significant issues with this app. This morning, I attempted to activate my Rail Pass for today’s journey approximately 30 minutes before boarding the 4:56 AM train. However, I encountered an error message instructing me to “Contact Us” and was unable to activate my pass. When I asked the station staff for assistance, they informed me that I would need to pay an additional charge. The staff were unaware of this issue and even suggested that I was not being truthful. Subsequently, I tried using a VPN service, which resolved the activation problem without incurring any extra charges.

Additionally, the app logs me out every day. When I need to show my ticket quickly, I am forced to log in again and answer questions like “Do you want to use a passkey?” which doesn’t even work. If there’s no internet connection, the app is completely useless.

If future occurrences require me to pay an extra 100 or 200 euros, what should I do? Who should I contact for support? What steps should I take, and what assurances or guarantees are in place to prevent this from happening again?

This app needs serious improvements in both functionality and user convenience.
