相手の名前をカスタマイズさせて欲しい
基本的に、すごく好きなアプリです。
シンプルに文字の送受信、写真の送受信…基本的にこれが出来れば問題ありませんし、LINEのように、スタンプや、ショート動画の投稿など…そのような機能も必要ありません。
ほんと、それを可能にしてくれているのが、このアプリだと思います。
ただ、一つだけ、どうしても周りの人に勧めきれない理由があります。
それは、相手の名前表示を自由にカスタマイズ出来ないと言うことです。
相手の名前は、相手が決めたニックネームだったりすることも少なくなく、アイコンを見ても本人の写真でもなく…直感的に誰からのメッセージであるか判断できないときが多くあります。
LINEのように、受け手側が自由に自由に名前を変更できるようにしてもらいたいです。
ほんと、それがかなうだけで、このアプリの使い勝手は相当上がると思います。
開発者さま、どうぞ、よろしくお願いします。
共有ボタンから選択が出来ない
単体ではチャットツールとして完成されている。
カスタム絵文字も使えるようになり使いやすくなった。
1点大きな問題としてiPhoneの共有ボタンでChatを選択肢として選べない。
他のチャットツール（SlackやLINE）であればgmail他でファイルを添付された際にファイルから以下の手順で共有ボタンを選択する事で直接共有が出来る。
・ファイルを開く
・共有ボタンを押す
・共有したい相手あるいはチャンネル/グループを選択
・共有
しかしながら本アプリでは以下の手順を踏む必要がある
・ファイルを開く
・一旦ローカル、又はグーグルドライブに保存
・チャットアプリを開く
・共有したい相手あるあはスペース（チャンネル）を選択
・添付ファイルから保存したファイルを「探して」選択
・共有
手順が増えさらに「探す」という行為があるため非常に煩雑になってしまう。
誤ったファイルを添付してしまう可能性が高まる などデメリットが非常に大きい。
共有ボタンからgmailアプリを選ぶとメールで共有してしまうのは致し方ないと思っているが、せっかくの専用アプリとして外出ししているのだからChatを共有ボタンに表示させ、指定した相手またはスペースへスムーズに共有する事は出来ないだろうか。
繰り返しになるが単体のチャットツールとしてはよく完成されているので上記機能に魅力を感じないのであれば全く問題はない。
通話に関しては利用していないので評価対象外。
Absolute Trash
A complete downgrade from hangouts - and now being forced upon people.
Can no longer send multiple photos at once, can’t call people through the app, has trouble attaching videos for me (gets stuck on compressing them), and is unreliable to receive messages (sometimes they show up several minutes after I see them on web version with my laptop.
I have no idea why Google has so much trouble with messaging, absolute clowns making decisions here.
