Powerful privacy-respecting office suite, based on OpenOffice, compatible with Microsoft® Office. It has been in development since 2010, and is used by tens of millions of people around the world. It's backed by The Document Foundation, a non-profit organisation.

Included: Writer (word processing), Calc (spreadsheets), Impress (presentations), Draw (vector graphics and flowcharts), Base (databases), and Math (formula editing).

LibreOffice is compatible with a wide range of document formats such as Microsoft® Word (.doc, .docx), Excel (.xls, .xlsx), PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx) and Publisher. But LibreOffice goes much further with its native support for a modern and open standard, the Open Document Format (ODF). With LibreOffice, you have maximum control over your data and content – and you can export your work in many different formats including PDF.

縦書き使用時のTips?

メニューより「書式」「ページスタイル」「ページ」「文字の方向」「右から左へ(縦書き)」と設定して縦書きを始めるとカーソルが入力と一文字分ズレて合わなくなります。
その場合は「LibreOffice」「設定」『LibreOffice-表示』すべてのレンダリングにSkiaを使用(J)にチェックを入れて再起動すると直るようです。
Windows版ではチェックを外すと直るからなのかどうかは分かりませんが、AppStore版はデフォルトでチェックが外れているようです。チェックを入れてみてください。
