Audiobooks are the wave of the future. The combination of the cellphone and digital downloading has made literature come alive for millions of readers/listeners who can now immerse themselves in the literary experience while taking a walk, commuting, or doing household chores. In the Philippines the audiobook format has not been explored well, especially for educational purposes. For this reason the author and some friends created an online domain to promote Philippine audiobooks to be accessed online by any student in the Philippines. The author will share his pedagogical experience of using an audiobook for the first time, as well as the reactions of his students to the new medium.
