Loopy Pro is a live-looper. And a sampler. And a sequencer. And a very capable AUv3 Audio Unit host. And a DAW. And an AUv3 Audio Unit.

You get the idea. Loopy Pro is deep. But it's also designed to be friendly, and a great deal of fun.

You can set up Loopy Pro to work however you do, with features like hands-free looping with count-in, count-out and automatic loop detection; or "free" looping, where you can choose on-the-fly how long to make loops. There's even retrospective recording, where you can lock in a loop after the fact.

There's extensive MIDI controller support, including built-in support for the Launchpad, the APC40 mk2 and the MIDI Fighter Twister, and effortless MIDI Learn for setting up your controllers.

You can also drag-and-drop audio straight onto loops in Loopy Pro, with sophisticated tempo and pitch adjustments, and use Loopy Pro as a clip launcher, with all kinds of options for song sectioning.

The built-in mixer lets you set up insert and send effects for every channel in your project, and load AUv3 Audio Unit instruments, effects, and MIDI sequencers.

And there's a built-in sequencer, for arranging songs, and even performing them live, totally automated and hands-free.

- Fixed issue with binding impulse actions, where hold/on-off actions were bound instead of impulse ones
- Fixed an issue that could cause an AUv3 crash

Changes in 1.1.20:

- Added new Save/Restore parameter actions, to store values of selected parameters, and recall them later. Even works across multiple plugins. Preset morphing!
- Added new “Toggle Sequence” action: Turn the sequence on or off, with the option to resume at prior playback position. Great for pausing a sequenced session for a jam, then jumping back into the sequence after.
- Added “Individual Outputs” option for session recording: Record your output channels separately.
- Added continuous adjustment of clock phase, via Phase Align Clock action: Move the downbeat around, relative to your playing loops.

モバイルDAWのニュースタンダード

自分は普段からLoopy HDを使って散歩しながら鼻歌作曲をしているのですが、Aメロ、ブリッジ、コーラスなどのパーツが揃ってもLoopyの上では曲として構築するのが難しく、別のDAWにいくつものオーディオファイルをちまちまと移すのも面倒で、さてどうしようかと悩んでいました。ところがこのLoopy ProではLoopyのシンプルな操作性はそのままに、曲のデモならほぼこのアプリだけであっという間に完成することができるようになりました。ありがとう、神マイケル。本当に一人で開発しているとか、信じられないよ。操作の概要等はまだ海外のYoutuber動画だけなので、Loopyからの変更点など若干ですがこちらに記しておきます。まだ触って数日なので間違いがあるかもしれませんが、あしからず。

• メイン画面にループトラックの他、ワンショットトラック、スライダー、トグルスイッチ等を自由に配置し、設定した（複数の）トラックを簡単にコントロールできるようになった。
• トラックを色(最大10色)でグループ分けし、グループごとにミキサーで操作できるようになった。自分は各色に楽器を割り当てて、バスでリバーブ量をコントロールしている。なお、バスのデフォルトがプリフェーダーだが、センドダイアルを長押しするとポスト等に変更できる。
• ミキサー上の各グループトラックにはToneStack Proなどのauv3プラグインをフェーダーのプリ、ポストに挿入できる。入力ソースにも挿入できるので、例えばエフェクトをかけたギター音を直接トラックに録音できる。
• 各トラック上のオーディオファイルは上Swipeのポップアップパネルで、インポート、エキスポート、ボリューム、パンバランス、小節数、グループカラー、ピッチ等を一覧操作可能となった。また、ファイルのトリムもここでできるようになった。
• ファイルはデバイス内やiCloudからもインポートできるようになった。また、Loopy Proのフォルダ内にオーディオファイルをまとめたフォルダを置けば、試聴からのインポートがこれまで通りできる。
• 各トラックの発音タイミングをタイムライン上でコントロールできるシーケンサーモードが新たに加わった。
• midi信号、auv3音源を直接入力ソースにできるようになった。midi信号は指定したauv3音源にルーティングできる。

• 残念ながらIAAは入力ソースにできないようだ。それができたら自分の使い方だとAUMが不要になる。LumbeatのドラムマシンやBIAS FX2など、IAAにしか対応していない使える音源は沢山あるので、惜しい。←実装済み！
• New Projectで開くデフォルトのレイアウトが変更できたらな、と思う。テンプレートファイルを作ってそれを開き、Duplicate Projectですぐに複製にすればいいのだが。 ←実装済み！
• 旧Loopyのセッションを直接開くことはできないようだ。但しセッション内のオーディオファイルを一つ一つ開いていくことはできる。←構想中とのこと

何はともあれ素晴らしい音楽制作環境が登場した。今後の開発継続のためにapp内課金で応援したい。

IAAにも対応し、最高の音楽環境に。

使っていて楽しくて、時間が経つのを忘れてしまう。ひとつ要望がある。私はLaunchpad S を使用してコントロールをしているのだが、過去のLaunchpadでもsession modeとnote modeが切り替えて使えるととても嬉しい。ぜひ対応して貰いたい。もし対応して頂けるのなら、新しいデバイスを購入する資金をこのアプリに継続的に課金する方が生産的だと思う。それぐらい素晴らしいアプリ。
追記ウィジェットのスイッチを作成し、switch controller profileをchangeしようとしたが、うまく切り替わらず。 midi learn にてswitch controller profileを割り当ててもうまく切り替わらず。 I tried to create a widget switch and change controller profile, but it didn't switch well. Even if you assign a switch controller profile in midi learn, it doesn't switch well.
