Mastodon初心者にもお勧めできるクライアントアプリ
使用開始から一週間と少々経過した時点でのレビューです。
必要な機能を一通り網羅しつつ、設定項目が絞られていて、余計な機能もなく、「Simple is the best」を地でゆくようなアプリです。
【よかった点】
・基本はホームタイムラインだが、ローカルや連合のタイムラインも表示可能
・もちろん通知機能はあり、それとは別にプライベートメッセージのタブもある
・投稿時の警告表示やメディアの閲覧表示設定も可能
・投票フォームの投稿も可能
・自分がお気に入りに設定したトゥートや「ブークマーク」（原文まま）の閲覧、フォローリクエストの確認も可能
・複数アカウント対応
・日本語対応
・敢えて具体名は伏せるが、ユーザ数の多い某アプリのように、ユーザが閲覧するサーバと無関係なサーバに勝手に接続してデータを流出させるようなマネもしていない模様
【要改善点】
・iOSの共有機能で、このアプリを宛先に設定することはできない（Mastodon公式アプリにあってこのアプリにない数少ない機能）
・たまに、大きなサイズの画像を添付して投稿しようとすると失敗する
全般的には非常に使いやすく、Mastodon初心者や、Mastodon公式アプリでは物足りない人、クライアントがこそこそとデータを収集することを許せない人にとってもお勧めです。
個人的には、要改善点にも書いたように、このアプリを共有先に指定できるようになればいいと思います。それならば★5です。
Not working
It says it can’t download posts. I’m on mastodon.social and although I can see the local and federated timelines, I can’t see my timeline or any mentions, etc
