This app connects to the Laerdal Newborn Ventilation Trainer Manikin, and allows you as a midwife or obstetrician to practice and improve your ventilation skills for the resuscitation of newborns. It will measure how well you perform, give you a performance score, and give you advices on how to improve. The app promotes regular training, and keeps track of your performance improvement. It also facilitate team-training where a team can practice the whole scenario from birth, through resuscitation, and until the baby cries. Afterwards an instructor can use it as a tool for debrief and evaluation of the whole team performance. This app will not work without the Laerdal Newborn Ventilation Trainer Manikin.
