自動接続に加え、自動切断も必要ほか
他の VPN と比較したことはないし、遅いとか言う不満もないので、星４つ
以前はVPN 接続に時間がかかる、VPN 接続待ちの間はネットに繋がらないなどの現象があり、切り分け目的で機種変更を機に、一旦使用を控えていた
自分の環境
IOS , キャリアのwifi の自動接続のプロファイルあり
キャリアの自動接続だけなら、不具合がないことを確認したので、NORD VPN を改めて使い出したら、このアプリにはVPN 自動切断ができないらしいことがわかった
自動切断
NORD VPN の設定が、「WIFI 利用時には自動接続」かつ「信頼するネットワーク ( SSID ) に接続する時は自動接続しない」の時に、信頼しないネットワークに接続しVPN on の状態から、WIFI を切断した時や、信頼するネットワークに接続しなおした時に、VPN 接続を断にすること
決済アプリには、Wifi 接続時や VPN 利用時には認証が通らないものがあるので、ます、Wifi を手動で切ったらVPN は自動で切断して欲しいけど、コレができない
また、ログイン前にWIFI に繋げると、あとからはログインも出来ないようである ( 一旦 Wifi 切って、ログインして、WIFI 接続する必要があるようだ )。
この辺りの仕様をもう少し詰めて欲しい
使い勝手に小さな問題があるので、次回の更新時は、別のものを試してみるつもり。
Was good while it worked
NordVPN was good as a VPN service (obviously), so I got a 1 year subscription after a trial period.
I don’t use it every day, so after a couple of month or so after paying for the annual subscription, I tried using it and the app tells me I don’t have access to the service because I don’t have a subscription.
I payed for a year and can see in my Apple subscription that it’s valid until September this year (2024), but I have no service nor access via the app.
Seems like something was off, so I tried contacting their support team by email, but no response.
I hear good things but seems like a scam to me - no service and no refund after only about a couple of months even after paying for an entire year.

Not even worth 1 star.
When you request for the cancellation of recurring subscription, they’ll ask you the reason. Then they’ll reply you with their suggestion without telling you that your cancellation is not carried out. If you do not answer them, they’ll understand that “you wished to continue using NordVPN”, and you’ll keep on paying the bill...

After my fourth contact to the support team, they finally issue a refund for my case (just before I received this reply from Apple) and my case is solved. Thank you very much.
