Nunaka: My Village is a 3D learning app developed in collaboration with the Sugpiaq people of the Chugach region in Alaska that includes the culture and language that represents Sugpiaq heritage. This preschool game addresses school readiness goals for kids ages 3-5, while exposing players to Sugpiaq culture and the Sugt’stun language. Players customize their avatar and explore a whimsical village with their grandparents, Emaa and Apaa, making new friends and completing fun and challenging games along the way.
