Really love this app, but is missing a few key features.

I am so happy to have this app. I’d been using the calendar website for a while now so I’m so glad the team made a native app!

A couple of quirks on the app that’s making it hard to use:
- when a calendar event is set on mobile, it cannot be edited through the desktop version, and vice versa
- on desktop when deleting one event in a series it deletes one event; on mobile it will only delete all events in a series. This has caused some problems with weekly meetings of mine if I’ve had to skip one
- cannot add participants on mobile

I believe in the product and want to use Calendar full time, but especially these three points have made it hard to use for me. Keep up the good work y’all!

Developer Response ,

Thank you for your feedback and support! It is already possible to add participants to events from the Proton Calendar web client (https://calendar.proton.me). We're also working to add this feature to the Proton Calendar iOS app in the future.

We also plan to add more options for the customization of recurring events with or without participants in the future.

You can expect further improvements to the Proton Calendar app in the months to come.

Very good but needs work

Essentials that are missing

- can click and drag on a time slot to create new event (rather than having manually select the time slot from edit menu which takes forever)

- editing the time - just give us 00,15,30 for minutes (takes too long to select through 60secs)

- can label events with different colors

Basically hope you can just mimic most of google calendar as they have it mostly right!

Developer Response ,

Hi! Thank you for your review and feedback. We’ve let the team know, so they can prioritize implementing these features in an upcoming update of the app. FYI, we don’t have a specific timeframe on when this may be implemented but feel free to contact us at https://proton.me/support/contact if you have any more suggestions on what we can do to improve.

Just a calendar

Every time I try to create an event, I get a message saying encryption failed and could not create event.
