What is a robot anyway?

Terrific resource, love the interactivity. Will appeal to school children. However, there is no clear definition of what actually is a robot. I see some toys at ToysRUs which can do similar actions to some of these robots so where is the line drawn between 'robot' and 'toy'?

実際に開発されたり、販売されているロボットやオモチャが写真や動画で紹介されている。犬型ロボットのaiboとか、恐竜型ロボットのpleoとかもある。ロボット掃除機のルンバもあった。文章は全部英語なので、意味は全部わからないけれど。新旧、各国のロボットが紹介されているので、ロボット好きな人や興味があれば悪くない。見ていて和むのもあれば、人間そっくりなリアルなのも紹介されているので、一見の価値はあるかも。
