惜しいゲーム。
地味で、割高で評価無しなので誰にも買われないまま埋もれていきそう。
Space Combat And Trading Simで、Eliteをリスペクトした内容。
良い点
一見ショボいグラとレーザーしかない戦闘だが、シールド、レーザー、エンジンの出力バランスを状況に応じて変えられるので、意外にも本格的である。
交易面ではオークションで商品を得るという形で、売買自体も一つのミニゲームとして成立していて良いアイデアだと思う。
悪い点
最も海外でも言われているのが、序盤があまりにもキツイということ。
最初の船が紙装甲なので、ミッションをするにも交易においても海賊の襲撃に耐えられず、結局お金を得られないことが多い。次の船さえ買えたらこっちのものだが、そこに至るまでが苦行でここで断念する人も多いと思う。
行ける星自体が少ない。
もっとたくさん移動可能な星があれば良いものだが、10個もないので単調になってしまう。
船を改造できない。
Elite系のゲームは自船を改造することも要素として不可欠な気がするがそれがない。高い船を買うことでしか強くなれない。
ミッションを受けたり、どこかの星で高額になっている商品をもってる場合、海賊の襲撃頻度と、その強さがおそらく上がっている。
あくまでこれは推測だが、それぞれがフラグになって襲撃頻度が増しているように感じる。適度な難易度アップは良いスパイスだが、上記の2つを満たしていると、襲撃頻度と強さがハンパない気がする。数と船のスペック差の暴力で収益は宇宙の藻屑と化す。これはもはや難易度アップというか理不尽の域である。非常にストレスが溜まる。
総評
アプリでこのジャンルというだけで希少価値が高く評価できるが、そのゲームバランスの悪さ、ボリューム不足で魅力は半減している。
