SAFR Key is a mobile credential app compatible with SAFR SCAN biometrics access reader and other PKOC compatible access readers. It allows users to create, register and use their own mobile credentials to gain access through doors or other access points controlled by compatible access readers. SAFR Key leverages Bluetooth communication and advanced cryptography to seamlessly and securely signal the access readers your mobile credential to authenticate you and give you access provisioned for you. SAFR Key is optimized to operate in the background on your phone thus allowing you the access experience without needing to handle your phone or physical cards. However, if operation in the background is not what you prefer, SAFR Key will also operate only when in use based on permissions you allow.
