This app allows visitors to explore the rich history of San Francisco Japantown, which was established in the Western Addition in 1906, and is the oldest of the three remaining in the United States.
Users will be guided through the 16 interpretive signs along the 10-block route of the San Francisco Japantown History Walk with the assistance of this interactive audio tour app. It will provide visitors a unique insight into the community's first hundred years of history and culture.
Key features:
• GPS enabled for easy map and location mapping
• Designed so you can follow along at your own pace
• Brief audio summary of key points on each panel
• Images of panels included which allow you the ability to zoom in/out
Tips on using the app:
• Tap the Home button in the top right corner to return to the main page at any time.
• Tap the Sites button to view all the panels included in the San Francisco Japantown History Walk Tour.
• Tap the Map button to locate your position and find nearby panels in the San Francisco Japantown History Walk Tour.
