Completely unreliable
Despite all network and app configuration correct, app continuously loses contact with device and reports it offline. Controlling the device via the app also flaky. 10% of the time device responds correctly and immediately. The other 90% device responds after lengthy, unpredictable delay, or does not respond at all. Tested with 3 different types of wifi access points and routers.
