Access award-winning journalism from the Mainichi Shimbun, one of the major newspapers in Japan, published by The Mainichi Newspapers. "The Mainichi Viewer" app enables users to view pages of publications of the Mainichi Newspapers as they appear in the paper’s printed editions.

購読者目線で
概ね好感を持つが、せっかくのスクラップ機能が残念。
まず、すべての記事に対応していないこと。
保存したい記事は速報性を持つ記事でなく、読み物としてあとから資料として参照したいと思うような、例えば健康など科学に関する内容や、寺社仏閣や歴史に関する記事、旅に関する記事などが多い。
これらの記事で保存できないものがあったり、記事中の画像やグラフ等が保存対象外であったりと、およそ紙媒体の記事スクラップではあり得ないような機能の提供となっている。
次に、スクラップ機能が東京版に限られている点。
デジタルの時代に大手新聞社なんだから、それぐらい当たり前のこととして実現させなさいよ。
紙のスクラップを電子でストレスなく容易かつ効果的にできてこそ、電子媒体の強みを発揮できる。今後の改善に期待する。
紙面の拡大・縮小
基本的に操作性は良いのですが、あえて言えば、紙面の拡大と縮小を指一本でできるようにしてほしいです。拡大と縮小については、ダブルタップで決まったサイズに拡大できるのですが、微調整が効きません。。
片手の操作で自在に扱えるようになれば、使い心地はさらに向上すると思います。
手軽に紙面を持ち歩けていい
出かけるたびに新聞を持ち歩く訳にもいかないしこれはありがたい
