Good contents, Bad service

I like the contents; but the service is bad.
I was a subscribed member (through App Store) in 2016, then they changed to current app (which I hated).
I still have the old app on my I pad, because they don’t let me access the old issues which I own from the new app.
I have a new iPad but I can’t install the old app anymore.
