さらに見る This app has been a huge support for my creative work. Thank you so much. There’s one thing I’d like to see improved:• When drawing in vector mode, after finishing a stroke on the selected layer, it automatically switches to the topmost layer. Having to scroll back to the intended layer every time is a hassle, so I’d appreciate it if this could be fixed.Thank you for the great update!

The app is great👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻It's really good, but it's not Japanese so sometimes I don't understand it...It would be helpful if you could speak Japanese. This makes it easier to use for many Japanese users.Please...🙏🙏

I always use it! It would be great if you could release a Japanese version! It is possible to force it to do so with drop shadows, but I would like to be able to do that, to take the edges off of the grouped items. I would like to see such a feature added!

- You can now copy and paste multiple selected drawings from multiple animation layers at once.
- You can now duplicate multiple selected drawings at once.
- You can now detach the color picker in the editor and place a compact variant of it anywhere on your canvas which stays open while you work with other tools.
- If you accidentally tap to dismiss the share options after an export has finished without saving the file, ToonSquid will now ask you whether you would like to see the share options again, rather than immediately discarding the already exported file.
- Flipping the canvas now flips it around the center of the visible region of the canvas on the screen so that whatever was previously in focus remains in focus.
- The "X" close button in the top right corner of the export screen has been replaced with a "Cancel" button next to the "Export" button.
- Various other bug fixes.

You can now use ToonSquid in portrait mode!
2.0.10 2025/07/22
- You can now import layered PSD files into ToonSquid. Either import them into the projects library to automatically create a new project from the PSD, or import them into the current project to insert the PSD layers as drawing layers into your timeline. Supported PSD features include (with certain limitations):
- Static PSDs
- Animated PSDs using the frame timeline
- Animated PSDs using the video timeline
- Pixel layers
- Editable text layers
- Shape layers (vectors)
- Group layers
- Smart objects
- And more…
- You can now export your project in the PSD file format. Different export modes let you choose between exporting a single frame of your animation as a layered PSD, exporting the entire animation as an animated PSD with a "frame timeline" or a "video timeline", or exporting a sequence of layered PSD files - one for each frame of your animation. Supported PSD features include:
- Pixel layers
- Editable text layers
- Exporting vector layers and path layers as editable shape layers
- Group layers
- Exporting symbol layers and animation clips as smart objects
- And more…
- Use the new "Import Images as Symbols" setting to control whether imported images should be inserted as a symbol layer or as a pixel layer in the timeline.
- Use the new "Insert Images Into Existing Drawing" setting to control whether adding an image to the timeline should always create a new animation layer or not.

2.0.5 2025/02/25
This update reintroduces the vector layer from ToonSquid 1 as the default drawing destination for vector brushes instead of always creating vector groups. It also disables the automatic vector group creation when adding path layers via the path tool or the shape library by default.
Vector groups continue to be a powerful feature in ToonSquid 2.0 and you can choose to opt in to only working with vector groups in the ToonSquid settings by changing the "General > Vector Workflow Preference" setting to "Vector Group" and by enabling the "Tools > Path > Create Vector Groups" setting.
You can now also choose to manually convert any vector layer to a vector group in order to access, edit and potentially animate the individual shapes inside, and you can convert vector groups to vector layers if you prefer to work with a singular layer instead of a group. Tap the vector layer / vector group and choose "Create Vector Group" / "Create Vector Layer".
If you had previously opened an older project from ToonSquid 1 in ToonSquid 2 which had converted all of your vector layers to vector groups, you can convert all of them back into vector layers at once by following these steps:
1. Open the project.
2. Tap on "Actions" at the top.
3. Tap on "Settings".
4. Select the "Info" tab on the left.
5. Scroll down and select "Convert Vector Groups to Vector Layers".
