toot is the free to download and helps you become a safer driver by monitoring your driving, based on GPS and other mobile technology. We will give you feedback and an overall toot driver score. Your score is ranked against other users and in the future, keeping a good score will give you exclusive deals and offers across a range of products and services. toot is always with you helping you drive more safely on every journey you take.

We all want to be safe drivers and smart drivers and we all need help to learn where we can improve our driving.

toot uses your phone GPS and accelerometer to understand how you are driving in each journey and where you can improve your driving. We also record if you unlock your phone as phone distraction is one of the biggest causes of poor driving.

There are a number factors that can affect safe and more economical driving. We measure 6 key categories for each of your drives:

Aggressive Acceleration
Sudden Braking
Fast Cornering
Speed Limits
Distractions (whether you are handling your phone)
Time of day you do your driving.

The categories build up a profile of your driving based on every trip. After each journey, your driving data will be sent to us to analyse. We then calculate your toot score and give you feedback on your driving.

You will see the number of incidents for each category in each individual drive summary as well as an overall score for each drive. Drill into a map view to see exactly where each incident took place so you get to learn where in your journeys your driving tends to suffer most.

Over time we will help you learn how to improve your driving and become a better, safer driver. toot will aggregate the data from all of your drives to give you an overall drive score.
