While Universe is totally free for everyone to make a great looking website, we do offer a premium subscription that provides added functionality to the app to help you do even more with your site. This subscription is totally optional and is not required to use the app.

Subscription Details:

Subscriptions are charged yearly to your iTunes Account after purchase confirmation. The subscription will auto-renew on a yearly basis, unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Prices vary based on which domain is chosen. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period at the selected domain's price.

To stop auto-renewal, visit Account Settings in iTunes after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, if applicable.

Pricing’s tough. I used to run an online shop selling raincoats. As you can imagine, raincoats are pretty seasonal items. Winter and spring - excellent times to be in business. But summer hits and sales drop off. So I tested discounts in the warmer months. Raked in some cash. But then you start to wonder...did I go too low? Will people be forever anchored to this lower price point? Maybe I should lay off the high heat. Looking back, there’s really no need to overthink it. Prices fluctuate. Temperatures rise and fall. Nothing’s permanent. That’s what this release is all about. Now when you create a discount code, you can edit it whenever you’d like. Products not flying off the digital shelves? Bump up the discount without having to send out fresh codes. Think you went too low? Pare back the discount a bit. It’s all good. It’s all an experiment. Nothing’s permanent. And in that spirit, we'll have more updates to Discounts coming soon.
