Volume Reset is a menu bar utility that sets your Mac's volume to a predetermined level when you shut down or sleep your Mac. This can be handy for those who forget to turn their volume down before shutting down so as to not disturb others when booting up next time. Once installed, you can set the app as a Login Item so that you never have to worry about setting your volume again!

cannot mute boot sound ( Is this spec? )
iMac late2009 27-inch macOS Sierra ver.10.12.6
Some people writes that this app can mute boot-sound if you checked “Open at login” in Japanese Blog.
So, I install this app, and cannot mute.
Mightly, Open at login means that App stays status bar after login.
Not well at Sierra
This App does not work well at Mac OS X 10.12 Sierra. Start up sound does not muted. I hope them to update.
Very good.
