Description
WheeLog! is a barrier-free map created by sharing accessibility information among everyone. It allows you to share barrier-free information from all over the world in one app, connecting your "been there" with someone else's "want to go".
[Main Features]
◎Timeline:
You can see the latest barrier-free information posted by users, and you can also view comments on other users' chirps and posts.
◎Map:
You can check wheelchair-accessible roads and barrier-free spots on the map. You can easily search for barrier-free information around your current location, making it safe even when visiting a new place.
◎Post:
You can post barrier-free information such as travel logs and spots.
[Four Posting Features]
■TrackLog:
Users can record the roads they traveled in a wheelchair on the map.
■Spot:
You can share barrier-free information on facilities and equipment that can be used by wheelchair users, such as accessible toilets, parking lots, and restaurants.
■Chirp:
You can share your current feelings on the timeline.
■Request:
Users can request the barrier-free status of spots they want to know.

発想はすごく素敵
24時間テレビをきっかけにインストールしました。
自分の目線では気がつくことが出来ない物事を知ることが出来るし、周囲の人の役に立つことができる素敵なアプリです
しかし、ログインにわざわざGoogleアカウントかメールアドレスが必要であるため、田舎ではまだまだ情報やユーザーが少ないと思います。InstagramやTwitter、FacebookなどSNSと連携することでログインが簡単になれば多くの人が使いやすくなり、ユーザーも情報も増えるのではないでしょうか。
健常者が想定されてない？
テレビでこのアプリを見た健常者です。何かお役に立てないかとダウンロードしてみましたが、プロフィールの設定の段階で健常者が選べず、その先へ進めません。
テレビでは、健常者もユーザーに想定しているみたいだったのでダウンロードしてみたのですが、また、ユーザーを増やすことに意味があると思うのですが、このままでは限界があるかなと思います。
UIに問題あり
アプリの目的や考え方、機能としてはとても素晴らしいと思います。
ただ、ユーザーインターフェースが…
このアプリの特性上、UIが悪いと、車椅子を使わない人は情報提供しなくなるのではないでしょうか。
このアプリが世間に浸透するための条件として、「心のバリアフリー」と「情報提供のしやすさ」が両立している必要があると思います。
「心のバリアフリー」が広まったとしても、UIのせいで情報が集まらないのはもったいないと思うので、改善していただけることを希望します。
5年後、10年後には、多くの車椅子利用者の方々に優しい世界でありますように。
