Give Sweat Deck a shuffle.

Sweat Deck

Deck of Cards Workout

View

Want to learn a new card game? The rules are easy. Give each suit an exercise, then flip the cards and try to get through the whole deck!

To start, turn a card over. Eight of spades, so that's eight pushups. Turn another card over, 10 of spades, hammer out another set of 10. Turn a card over, Queen of hearts. Do 12 burpees. Another card, six squat jacks. And another, nine burpees. Wiped yet? But you want to get through that whole deck, don't you?

Sweat Deck gamifies your workout and feeds off your competitive drive as well. You get a long list of exercises to choose from so you can design your own workout, and if you upgrade to the pro version, there's an even longer list, and you can add your own exercises.

What happens if you get a joker card? It's up to you; sure you could choose “Rest for 30 seconds.” Try to go for “Double-under skipping—one minute” instead. Are you ready? You have 54 cards to get through, all against the clock.

If this sounds a little gimmicky, wait until you’re halfway through a pack of cards, having just turned over a king followed by an ace, then a jack, followed by a nine all of the same suit. Depending on how the cards fall, that means you could have just done 40 narrow-grip pushups in a row. Take our word for it: it burns. We promise you won’t feel that Sweat Deck is "just a game" once you try it.
