Mkula came alittle late but at the right time to provide an online solution to employee meal benefits. I am able to plan meals to pertake every single day for a whole month at my employers cost.

The app is simple to use, With vendor number, payments can be made instantly just like Safaricom Mpesa BuyGoods service. I have always enjoyed instant support by Apptivate Africa team especially quick whatsapp support by Emily.

Often times I order via Jumia Foods because they’re currently the only platform accepting Mkula payments. Unfortunately almost 100% of the time, when a rider gives me the Merchant number to use, I get the ‘outlet not found’ error.
Additionally, your in app customer service has never worked in the instances I’ve tried to use it.
It can be quite annoying.
In addition the few times that merchant numbers go through, there’s almost always a long lag for transactions to reflect on my account as well as for messages to show up on the other party’s side. Again, because the rider has to wait for the confirmation, it’s lost time.
Other times , I can’t make the transaction at all because when I get to confirming payment, the app disengages (don’t know the technical term). This has happened maybe twice.
In this case I will then have to use Mpesa to avoid keeping the rider waiting.

I hate that I have to use this app daily. I feel like it has an issue at least once every two weeks
