My review about the Bible app
This has been an amazing app so far!! It has helped me understand more about myself, and about God. I’ve been in a season where I have been going through quite a lot, as I’ve been feeling detached from my feelings. And when my feelings aren’t there when it comes to honoring God, my mind isn’t there. I’ve learned that the truth is...I shouldn’t be worshipping God because I FEEL like it, but rather because God deserves all my praise & worship despite my circumstances! So, I will carry on with the hope that I profess because I know that I can trust in the Lord to keep his promises :) (Hebrews 10:23) The Lord is faithful, and especially with the verse of today, I understand that I should be and I can be joyful, knowing that God sees me and watches over me, in spite of the season that I am in. Thank you for this app, it’s truly a blessing and it contributes greatly to my walk with Christ! 💕
Wonderful App but a little buggy
The Bible app is very good, the versions are very good and the have increased the versions that can be downloaded which is fantastic! The issues I have are: 1. Signing into the app was a rather long and tedious task because it kept refining to recognise my ID and sign in. It would take so many attempts and this was very frustrating. Eventually it would sign in but it would take very many attempts. NB. This wouldn’t be a fresh sign up, it would be signing in using an existing account. 2. Most times I have to relaunch the app if I want to use it after I have left it open to use another app on the phone. The app would open and have a blank white screen with no icons except the audio buttons at the bottom of the page( if I was using a version with the audio option).
Excellent App
There are a lot of good things going on for this Bible App. Easy to use interface. A tracker that ensures I stay eager to read The Bible everyday(Though the more I matured in Cheistianity I realized I dont need this to be a reminder to read The Bible). The SUV Kiswahili translation is exactly as the hard copy version. A verse of the day that is easy to share(Though saving the image on my phone sometimes is a hard). I can always track history, has wonderful references. I usually dont watch the videos they put up because honestly speaking I dont know if the spirit guiding the preaching and prayer is The Holy Spirit, because the Bible tells us not just to believe someone because they say they have The Spirit. But thats not a bother at all. Overally, first time I have given five stars.
