Terrible!
The app is terrible. I’m newly registered but the app doesn’t allow me to pay by mobile money. It keeps on returning the error that my number has been registered by another Jumia user and prompts me to enter my banking information.
It looks like a phishing app to me and I don’t trust it at all. Also their customer service line is off and you can only access them by email. The reason? COViD 19 which is apparently transmissible by telephone.
DANGER!
The issue is not solved!
Please try the app for yourself. The problem is with the registration process. The error it returns are:
1.This user is already registered despite this being the first time I have registered to a Jumia service.
2. Mobile payment option on purchasing PlayStation tokens is problematic and returns the error “this user phone number is registered to another Jumia user”
3. Why keep on prompting me for all my contact details once registered???
4. I asked a friend to try the app and he got the same response.
The problem is definitely not solved

Worst app ever
Such a pathetic app. I paid for my dstv for it to take forever to process ! What are you processing!this should be instant things! Then not to say they done have live customer service! Such a turn off! You guys are a scam and I regret it
