A Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) session leverages the latest technology to connect to remote interpreters at the touch of a button. VRI allows limited-English speakers, as well as the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing, to feel heard and seen by another person. With additional access to visual cues, VRI provides an interpreting experience that is most similar to On-Site Interpreting when it comes to the accurate delivery of the message.

An Over-the-Phone Interpreting (OPI) session is much like a telephone interpreter. With our over-the-phone interpreting service, you will be assigned a unique PIN upon opening an account with SAI. Then, you simply call our telephone interpreting line, enter your PIN and select the language you need from our menu.
Over-the-Phone Interpreting is critical in situations such as:
• An on-site interpreter is not available.
• Meetings or events that involve multiple spoken languages.
• When the phone is the primary method of communication and an interpreter in a specific language is needed on the spot.
• The consumer has requested privacy due to various reasons but not limited to religious background, cultural norms, health conditions, legal issues or simply does not wish to be exposed.


Users:
Users must have an active account with SAI. Interpretation services are directly billed to the credit card on file at a per minute rate.
