What’s New

Version 8.0.0

Dear Bookopedians,

This major update focuses on improving your post-reading journey and giving you more options to customize your experience. Let's take a look at what's new:

- Vocabulary Flashcards
You can now review the vocabulary you've collected in your books using flashcards. A simple and effective way to reinforce what you've learned, one word at a time.

- Quotes Flashcards
Revisit the most memorable lines from your books with the new flashcard mode for quotes. A great way to reflect, memorize, or simply enjoy the words that stuck with you.

- Sort Books by Author
Looking for a specific author in your library? You can now sort your books by author to make navigation quicker and more intuitive.

- Control Autofilling Genre
Some online book sources tend to fill the genre field with unwanted or inconsistent values. You now have the option to disable this automatic genre filling in Settings > Configure Books. A small addition that gives you more control over your data.

- Extended Markdown Support for Notes
You can now choose to enable or disable Markdown formatting for chapter notes, character notes, and location notes individually. Configure this in Settings > Configure Markdown to match your note-taking style.

- Improved Translations
French, German, and Spanish localizations have been refined to provide a more accurate and polished experience. If you spot any issues, feel free to reach out via Settings > Contact Support.

As always, your feedback is invaluable. Thank you for supporting Bookopedia.

Happy reading!
