Description

With QuickDrop, you can seamlessly send and receive photos, videos, text files, and more between your Android phone and your Mac using Google Quick Share. Quick Share is built into most recent Android devices, therefore, no additional app is required on your phone - it's that simple. Received files will be stored in your Mac's Downloads folder, and are transmitted end-to-end encrypted over Wi-Fi - so no Cloud is involved in the process.

When QuickDrop is running, it will appear in the menu bar at the top of your screen. Click the QuickDrop icon if you would like to stop receiving files. To send files from your Android device to your Mac, just select "Share" or tap the share icon for a file you want to transfer to your Android device, and select "Quick Share". Your Mac will be listed as an available device.

After that, you will see a notification on your Mac. Hover over the notification to accept or decline the file transfer. Please note that your Android device and your Mac need to be on the same network to transfer files.

QuickDrop also allows you to send files from your Mac to your Android device. For any file, click on the Share icon or right-click on the file and select "Share". Afterward, select "QuickDrop" from the list of apps and follow the instructions. If you don't see QuickDrop in the list, click on "Edit Extensions", scroll down, and enable the toggle for QuickDrop.

QuickDrop is completely free to use for sending files from your Mac to your Android device. With QuickDrop+, you can also receive unlimited files from your Android device. QuickDrop+ is a cheap one-time purchase, and no subscription is required. QuickDrop+ contains all current and future features.
