Using most modern media technology, the Celtic Experience Trail app leads through the oppidum Heidengraben, once the largest Celtic settlement on the European mainland. Digital 360-degree reconstructions, aerial photographs and virtual 3D presentations provide intriguing insights into the living environment, burial customs and rituals of a long gone past. On the way along impressive burial mounds, monumental fortifications and important trade routes, virtual AR models, audio and video sequences as well as text-image hotspots bring the Celtic past to life.
