And now you’re going to find him, no matter where that takes you.
Through Abandoned is a ‘room escape’ adventure game which marries deliberately cartoonish visuals with a range of puzzles. Some of these are simple, others are so tricky they could persuade the world’s calmest pacifist to start smashing things.
And while most of the puzzles are about careful thought rather than indiscriminate tapping, sometimes you really will just need to press every pixel on your display until you hit the right thing.
When you do get into the designer’s mindset, however, the answers often become obvious.
So, if you’re in the mood for a puzzler that’ll tax the stuff between your ears without taking huge chunks out of your free time, Through Abandoned is well worth exploring.
