Shoot, score, repeat! There won’t be any stodgy stalemates here, because Score! Hero condenses football into an exciting highlights reel of action. It’s a game of scintillating teamwork, glorious attacking moves and clinical finishing.
What we love: Score! Hero puts the beautiful game on fast forward. As you help your rookie pro rise through the ranks, each season boils down to a few pivotal passages of play. While accuracy is rewarded with headline-grabbing goals and transfers to bigger clubs, this is also a game of second chances. Whenever your moves are cut short by opposition defenders or your own dodgy aim (it happens), you can replay the action to give yourself another crack at the goal. Be warned, however, that this will also use up your precious supplies of energy and in-game cash.
Quick tip: Think before you play the ball. Look for players in space, watch out for offsides and, perhaps most importantly of all, don’t rush. In Score! Hero, precision – and moments of on-field inspiration – are much more important than speed.
