Description
Battery Charge Alarm is an app that helps you charge your device to a specific battery level. You can set an alarm that will go off when the device is charged to the desired level. This is completely adjustable through an intuitive user interface, matching iOS design guidelines. Once you set the battery alarm, a stand-by screen is shown with a view on the current battery charge, and a dotted line showing the charge required before you will be alerted to stop charging your phone.

Is it impossible to set the mininum alarm?

Several people have suggested adding a low battery alarm. The main reason why I haven’t added this feature to the app, is that I believe this is actually bad for the battery health. Let me explain. For a low battery alarm to work, the Battery app will need to continuously run in the background (it is not possible for an app to get launched based on getting to a certain battery percentage). For an app to run in the background, a significant amount of energy is used. In other words, you’ll need to charge your device more often. That in turn will result in your battery having a shorter lifespan. So because of this, the Battery app doesn’t have a low battery alarm feature.
