Each DK findout! ebook is packed with fun facts for kids as well as quizzes, timelines, and interviews. Stunning photography brings each topic to life and helps make learning even more dynamic. Your child can even personalize the app by choosing their own avatar from a range of fun images. As a parent, you will have a secure parental PIN so you can look after what your child picks for their DK findout! bookshelf.
You and your child can also go beyond the bookshelf and open up a world of discovery by following the links to the DK findout! website. The Dorling Kindersley Limited ("DK") DK findout! app uses a third-party app service provider ("Google Analytics") in order to create accurate, real-time user data reports so that DK can continue to improve the app user experience. The service collects and submits anonymous aggregated data about which app features are being used most frequently, as well as your mobile device UDID (unique phone identifiers) and/or IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identities), which are also anonymized via a secure hashing protocol, to Adobe servers. This information will be used to continually improve the features and functionality that DK releases in its subsequent versions of its mobile apps.
