Welcome to the Equipd Bible - a powerful Bible reading and personal study app.
What makes the Equipd Bible different from other Bible apps? It has been carefully optimised for daily workflows, from using in the ministry, to daily bible reading and collating your favourite scriptures and study notes. * Load compatible Bibles in EPUB format from the Equipd website or other approved sources. Check www.equipd.me/bibles for more information.
* View different Bibles side-by-side for easy comparison. Or read just one Bible full-screen.
* Load multiple languages side-by-side for sharing in the ministry with those from different cultures. Great for language learners.
* Bible Reading Schedules with reminder notifications. You can setup one or multiple schedules at a time. Never get behind on daily Bible reading again.
* For Chinese users or learners ... automated Pinyin, Zhuyin (Bopomofo), Sidney Lau, or Yale romanization can be generated and shown in 2-line format above the Simplified or Traditional characters.
* For Japanese users or learners ... automated Furigana or Romaji in 2-line format.
* Jump from viewing just the selected verses to the Chapter window to get the full context.
* Multiple ways to look up scriptures. Use the 3 scrollers at the top, or the Bible Picker accessed from the toolbar. Use the double-tap or "shake" gestures to show the Picker - great for one-handed use on the iPhone.
* Add study notes against verses. View notes for the current chapter in a side-panel (iPad and iPhone Plus). Access all notes from the toolbar.

* Bookmarks organised by topic or category. You can even put a comment against a bookmarked scripture to highlight a main point or line of reasoning.

* Backup and Restore of verse notes and bookmarked scriptures, with backup reminders.
* Clipboard Lookups - just copy a scripture from another document or app, and then open Equipd ... Equipd will try and look it up for you!

Version 4.1.3
It has been a while since the last update, thanks for your patience - I hope you are still enjoying the app.
This update fixes a few issues and adds some new features.
New In-App Browser
================
- Much easier to install new Bible EPUB files and Schedules.
- Support for browser bookmarks.
- From the main Bible window you can open the browser from the top/right menu, or using a two-finger tap (must be enabled in Settings > General).
- Use this feature to share a website while out in the ministry for example.
Backups
=======
- Backups can now be shared to any app, not just email.
- The backup file name now includes the date and device (iPad or iPhone).
Other Improvements
================
- Added a search to bookmark folders.
- Improved support for 6.7" and mini screen sizes.
- Added the ability to lock in the screen in portrait mode in Settings > General.
- You can now change font size from the top/right menu in both the main Bible window and the Chapter window (dropping support for the pinch / zoom gesture here).
PS: iOS 14 or higher is now required to use the app.

성구를 여러개를 클릭해 보면 성구 창이 커지면서 모두를 볼 수 있었는데 업데이트 되면서 성구창은 그대로라서 글씨가 숨겨집니다.

앱에서 이런 일이 발생한다는 소식을 들으니 정말 안타깝습니다. 이는 원래 의도된 방식이 아니며, 더욱이 이 문제는 소수의 사용자에게만 국한된 것으로 보입니다.
이유와 방법을 파악하지 못했지만 대부분은 다음을 통해 문제를 해결했습니다.
1) 앱 내부에서 수동 백업을 사용하여 메모와 북마크를 백업하세요.
2) 앱을 삭제합니다.
3) 기기를 다시 시작하세요.
4) 앱을 다시 설치하세요.
그러면 문제가 해결된 것 같습니다.
이 단계를 시도해보고 어떻게 진행되는지 확인하시기 바랍니다. 그래도 문제가 해결되지 않으면 support@equipd.me로 문의하세요.

성경 Equipd 는 잘 쓰고 있습니다만....
성경Equipd 전의 출판물을 담은 Equipd가 2주전부터 열리지 않습니다. 아이패드 업그레이드 이후로 ... 앱스토어에서도 사라지고... 오늘 애플 써비스센터에 갔더니 호환문제라며 개발자가 지원을 안 하기 때문이라고 하더군요.그 안에 저장해 놓은거 다 날라가는 건가요? 지원을 안 하시고 방치하실 계획이십니까?

중국어병음판과 함께보려 구매했습니다
아직 사용법을 확실히 몰라 별점 3개만 드립니다. 질문입니다. 신세계역성경은 한 언어만 사용할 수 있는건가요? 지금 주요성구항목에 4가지 언어가 뜹니다. 한국어, 영어, 일어, 중국어. 그런데 한국어만 신세계역이고 다른언어는 모두 다른 번역본 성서들이네요. 이전 버전 아이패드에서 사용할 때는 여러가지 신세계역 언어를 함께 볼 수 있었는데 그렇게는 안되는건가요? 저는 지금 한국어신세계역, 중국어 신세계역병음, 중국어 다른 번역본성경, 이렇게 세가지가 필요합니다, 이 세가지를 함께 볼수 없는건가요?

Hi,
The new Bible app is an EPUB reader. So yes, you can use the Bible in many different languages. But you have to download the Bibles in EPUB format, and load them into the Bible app - the same as loading an EPUB into apps like iBooks.
So for the Chinese Pinyin version:
1) go to JW.org
2) locate the NWT in Chinese Simplified
3) download the EPUB file, and
4) "Open in" the Equipd Bible app.
You can then choose to use that Chinese Bible with Pinyin, Zhuyin, Yale or Sidney Lau. It is up to you.
