NHL.TV 4+

Remember when you could watch 4 games at once?
So frustrating with the log in, but that may be because I’m overseas.

My understanding is that the site is now operated by the same as the mlb operators. I sure hope the stats are bawesome be use the. I Ewing experience is not.

Please add an option to choose the bitrate stream I want. You’re killing my mobile data. Also if you can add a roku or LGtv app, I’d be most grateful. The casting to my tv works, but I like using my mobile device during the game and without those I can’t. Edit: never mind, I have to re-login every single time I change windows or want to change streams… that’s garbage… fix that and I’ll go back to 3 stars, fix the others I’ll give 5 stars, but this is a one star app at the moment.

10/23 update: I’m trying to watch Arizona vs Ottawa and TSN had the second half of the first period on the loading screen. That’s probably TSN’s fault not NHL but the fact that it’s possible is on the NHL… I paid for this? Garbage. DO NOT PAY!

This app is a complete downgrade.
1. Crashes and api errors galore.
2. Makes you login constantly
3. No option to start game from beginning when live.
4. Spoilers right below the game you go to watch.
5. Randomly home or away broadcast not available sometimes.
6. Crashes when connecting Bluetooth headphones.
7. Simple UI issues like when you scroll ahead in full screen mode, your thumb blocks the time and the time on the left doesn’t change.

Did anyone actually test this app for like a day before launching it? This is the first time I have ever written a review. It’s that bad. It’s embarrassing.
