The goal is to provide you with a bestie who understands what you are going through, won't judge you and will support you as you support your incarcerated loved one.
Prison Wife Besties was designed to address the needs of people that the justice system affects. Over 2.2 million people are incarcerated in the United States and the devastation that it has on their families is immeasurable. Men make up over 90% of the prison population in the United States and over 70% of these are in relationships and/or have children that are financially dependent on them. Therefore, their absence leaves a void in the hearts of the women that love them but it also creates a financial burden for these same women who are now left to care for the children on their own, while paying for their incarcerated loved one’s attorney fees, commissary and overpriced phone calls. Before now, it was as if family members of incarcerated persons didn’t matter. No one cared to address the needs of families—the loneliness, stress, fatigue and lack of support. Prison Wife Besties provides users with a life coach to help them navigate living a life with their significant other incarcerated. We also provide you with a relationship coach to help you maintain or develop a healthy relationship with your now incarcerated loved one. More importantly, we connect you with other women across the country who are in a similar situation as you and allow you to discover your new bestie. With the emergence of ever-growing technology we are able to bring to you a feature called “Smart Diary” which allows users to write out their innermost feelings and instantly receive mental wellness tips.


In the near future, we will have features that will allow you to make money instantly, send mail, book convenient visitation rides,track spending,have an on-demand law advisor, make videos,post visitation pictures with a unique twist and many more fun, exciting and helpful features.


Prison Wife Besties understands what it is like to have an incarcerated loved one and every day we strive to make things easier for our users to cope with that reality. We find that a lot of women who have incarcerated loved ones feel some degree of embarrassment and with public perception being what it is; we understand. We know it is a lonely journey doing this all by yourself; but now, you do not have to do it alone. Prison Wife Besties allows users to sign-up and create their profile with details such as your city, state, facility of incarcerated loved one and whether they met while incarcerated or met before incarcerated. You can then swipe left on bestie profiles until you come across one that peaks your interest. You can then swipe right and if the interest is mutual, you receive a message that says “Congratulations, It’s a Bestie!” Now the fun begins. You and your bestie can message each other, share stories, laugh, cry and party together. But most importantly, you get through this journey together. And even when your incarcerated loved one finally comes home and you may feel you don't need to use PWB any longer, you will still have built a friendship with your bestie that will last a lifetime.
