Understanding Medical Scans was created by NIBIB to help you take the first step to learn about medical imaging so you can ask your provider informed questions about these important diagnostic and treatment tools.
You can also learn about the latest imaging research funded by NIBIB. From designing new child-friendly MRI tools to researching ways to decrease radiation, NIBIB-funded researchers are making strides every day towards creating better technologies to help doctors see inside the body and improve human health.
