Registration process:
YONO is supported on iOS 11 and above.
Ø Install/Update new version of App from App Store and open.
Ø Allow all required permission (location).
Ø Select SIM of CBS Registered Mobile Number (RMN) and submit NEXT.
Ø An encrypted SMS with a unique code will be sent from the device to a pre-defined Number 7718965316 to verify the customer. Kindly note that for sending the SMS standard SMS charges are applicable as per your telecom plan. The SIM should have active outgoing SMS facility.
Ø If there are multiple CIFs attached with same mobile number, system will prompt for the account number and DOB for finding out a unique customer by the mobile number.
Ø If the customer is already having online banking facility of SBI, App will automatically prompt to proceed to Register on YONO with existing user credentials (Online Banking User ID and Password). After entering User ID and Password, customer will receive an OTP on Registered Mobile Number. User has to enter the OTP in the app to complete registration with an optional setting of MPIN.
Ø If the existing SBI customer is not having Online banking credentials, App will prompt to proceed to create INB credential using “Account Details” and “ATM Card” based registration process.
Ø If Non RMN SIM is selected, User will land on account opening screen. If customer claims that selected SIM is already registered with bank, user needs to visit nearest branch with KYC for updating/validating the mobile number in bank account.

Good features but performance issues
The app has some very food features as well as good user experience. But the biggest problem is the performance. So many time we find the application unavailable, either an end of day is being run after midnight or some maintenance is being carried out. The biggest problem with the app and SBI online is the receipt of OTP. Almost 50% of the time I do not receive OTP’s leading to critical transactions not being executed.

Mobile application
Very poor application. Very complicated to use. If u do a transaction long time delay taking .
As a customer of SBI ,banking officials please understand that when we do a current transaction the amount to be credited to that account is for the current purpose not for future purposes. If it is for future purposes we can schedule the payment or do transaction at that time. As the world is updating and apps are updated, I don’t feel this much difficult in using another application. Security feature is good but customer satisfaction as to be taken in consideration also. Don’t irritate the customers. Why online transaction is taking 3 or more days to credit. PLEASE PROVIDE WHICH TRANSACTION IS EITHER IMPS , NEFT . for bill payment please update yono SBI. Please be aware of the fact we in 2021. Update the app like that way in order to use customer friendly and easily with security.

NRE LOGIN
This app is totally useless specially for the NRE. I have been trying last several years to login through app despite of 100s of attempts to register from both countries (india & Kuwait) same result, i have lost around 7KWD to just trying to register, whenever we raise as robot reply from dev saying bla bla, much better to close the app, SBI is going backwards where entire world looking and developing to advance, i m really thinking now to switch other bank, next vacation i will sure change the bank, however the people who managing they don’t care as they are getting salary, seems they are on lunch break from several years as usual,

Deeply regret for the inconvenience. Currently, YONO registration is not available for International Numbers. The facility is expected to be available in the coming months.
