complexity in racing games
Of course everyone waits updates in graphics, however, only graphics do not satisfy nowadays, thats all about gameplay overall where complexity play a huge role.
What i believe is that you need to include in your game things as "gear shifting button" to allow a user control the speed as in IRL. Whats more, you can add some crash systems when you touch any other racer because right know it seems so unrealistic. Also to this one, if it is complicated on the first sight, add some penalties for touching, corner cutting, etc. It will make game trickier and more enjoyable. Why? Because to feel competitiveness players want to be capable of winning by themselves, not only by improving the stats on your bike. At the end of the day, if only graphics would be the most significant part, then asphalt 8 and 9 would be the best games, however it has strong opponents as Real Racing, Formula 1, etc. since it has different expirience in riding. Hope you will apply at least one of the suggestions soon and will not stop on one improvement. So, to make your game 5 star indeed and be more than above your competitors - reconsider the intricacy of your game.
